Zeeland Zoom 5k

It was a Warm ONE last night for the Zeeland Zoom 5k. Over 1100 People showed up to participate in the annual 5k Run/Walk. My sister and I Ran pretty much the entire race together and then she got me by 10 seconds at the end ( she has a good kick) We were super excited about our times it was nice to be back in the 21's and it felt good. :)

Even Grandpa Came out to run !! Actually we all ran (well most of us) Sara, Me, Travis, Dad, Grandpa, we should have gotten a full group picture.

New Fitness Opportunity added to the Calendar

Trail Run and Workout 
with Mary-Lynn Webster :) 

Time:  6-7pm 

            Once in a while we meet at Laketown Beach.

Dates:  Mondays and Wednesdays through August and maybe into September

Running/Fitness.  We cover 3-4 miles of jogging/running trails, dunes, and beach with exercises interspersed.  Intervals and hills are our friends!!!  We finish with core work and yoga stretch on the lawn by the fountain at the Felt Mansion.  It’s a beautiful place to enjoy getting a great work-out-side!
